Good Eggs Round up !🍳

Thanks to the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, we have provided over 30 artists with specialist training through our Artist Support Programme 'Good Eggs', to equip them to work in the community.

We have supported artists to develop their own funded projects, signposted to paid opportunities and further training, and brought artists on board to work on EastSide Arts projects. ⭐

We're delighted to announce Gareth Dunlop at Titanic Distillers Pumphouse as our 2nd event of EastSide Arts Festival 2026, ahead of our full programme launch in June.

One of Irelands most revered songwriters takes to the stage at the Pumphouse for a night of songs and the stories behind them. Accompanied by his band of incredible musicians, expect music from previous albums as well as songs yet to be heard.

An idea born from stripped back rehearsal sessions, often happening around Gareth's own kitchen table - ‘Around The Tabletop’ is a way for music lovers to experience a raw and unfiltered performance in a historic and unique setting.

As well as songs featured in countless hit TV shows such as NASHVILLE, Lucifer, House & Marshals and major motion pictures like ‘Best Of Me’ & ’Safe Haven’ , his songs have been recorded by music legends such as Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, John Oates & T.I.

‘Around The Tabletop’ will give fans the chance to hear Gareth and his band like never before.

Join the murmuration !🕊

Come along to Templemore Baths this Saturday 2nd May between 11am-1pm to a free public workshop to learn the basics of copper embossing and make a starling lead by .

This workshop takes places during the Templemore Spring Craft Fayre, so come along and peruse the local handmade treasures, and start the bank holiday weekend off right!🙌

This workshop is part of our 'Taking Flight' project, collaborating with seniors groups across East Belfast to create an installation inspired by the beloved starlings at the Albert bridge.
This is your opportunity to create a starling that will be added to the final artwork, bringing together people from all across the East to form our own murmuration 🕊

'Taking Flight' Arts and Older people project is soaring !🙌🕊

We've had so much fun, reflecting on our experiences watching the starlings at the Albertbridge, and responding creatively through new techniques like printmaking and copper embossing.

Photos taken by with the fabulous ladies at Evergreens group Stormont Presbyterian Church.

'Taking Flight' is well underway , with our amazing artists Anna O'Kane , .fenix and visiting groups in Stormont, Short Strand, Dean Crooks Ballyhackamore, Clarawood and Dee Street over the past month. 👏

We're looking forward to working with more groups next month to grow our murmuration 😍

EastSide Electronics line up announced and tickets live 💃

We return with our flagship EastSide Electronics event as part of EastSide Arts Festival 2026. ⚡️

2026 sees our biggest festival lineup yet - split across three venues on Saturday 25th July. Bullhouse East, C.S. Lewis Square and Banana Block play host to a day and night, showcasing the best in local and international electronic music.

Norwegian disco stalwart Todd Terje returns to Belfast alongside a DJ set from seminal electronic pioneer Leftfield at C.S. Lewis Square. The Night Institute’s Timmy Stewart and Jordan Nocturne are joined by Marion Hawkes, Venus Dupree and Efa O’Neill across the day and night along the Newtownards Road.

Entry to Bullhouse East is free from 4-6pm.

Tickets for EastSide Electronics by Day (C.S. Lewis Square) and EastSide Electronics by Night (Banana Block) are on sale now.
