The Blackthorn Pipers' Society The Blackthorn Pipers’ Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Bagpipe music with Introducing new compositions. Having guest players playing.

We see this society as a way for:

Pipers to air tunes in public ‘so to speak’
Those that have an interest in our music, don’t hear enough of it, and want to come along and enjoy an evening of pipe music. Members to broaden our knowledge of the instrument.

….and the list goes on.

Congratulations from us all. 🎶

This month’s Blackthorn piper is Alastair Donaghy

Looking forward to hearing what Mr Donaghy has been up to since we last heard him play.

Join us on the Wednesday the 21st October Doors open at 7pm. Usual spot Ulster-Scots Community Network building in Belfast near the Albert Clock. Plenty of parking opposite

Lorraine will be there with her tuck shop and of course her famous soup and wheaten. Bring a few pennies for the tuck.

The evening is a FREE event and we would like to thank the Ulster-Scots Agency and the Ulster-Scots Community Network for their continued support without that support we would not be able to hold our FREE sessions.
