At ShelterNI, we are proud to stand alongside Centrepoint in supporting their open letter to the new Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, calling for urgent action to help end youth homelessness.
Every young person deserves a safe place to call home, and together we can help make that a reality.
We’re asking all of our supporters, friends, and followers to add their voice by signing the open letter. Your support can help send a powerful message that ending youth homelessness must be a national priority.
Please sign the open letter today and help us stand up for young people who need it most. Together, we can make a difference.
I believe the Prime Minister should prioritise ending youth homelessness

John/JJ joined Shelter NI in early 2024 as a General Administration Officer based in Head Office. His role includes website and social media updates, volunteer administration, managing static collection boxes and providing support across a range of organisational activities.

Working across several areas of the organisation means no two days are exactly alike. The role provides opportunities to support different teams and contribute to a variety of projects throughout Shelter NI.

Outside of work, JJ enjoys pursuing long-standing hobbies and is particularly interested in learning about the world around him, both past and present. He values opportunities to continue learning and occasionally shares his knowledge and interests with others through community-based activities.

We've been busy installing and improving a range of safety features in homes, including handrails, bannister rails, and grab rails, helping people to move around their homes with greater confidence and independence.

If you would like any similar work carried out in your home, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
