In August, Portadown Male Voice Choir hosted a joint concert with Castleford Male Voice Choir, raising a fantastic ÂŁ2,500 for Tearfund.

Every donation helps us go where the need is greatest, walking alongside communities as they lift themselves out of extreme poverty. We are very grateful to both choirs and to everyone who attended to show their support.

When disasters like conflict and sudden floods force families to flee their homes, important documents can be lost alongside everything else.

In Cabo Delgado and Gaza Province, Mozambique, Tearfund is working alongside government registration services to help families access official identification documents as they rebuild their lives.

Without these documents, displaced families face barriers accessing public services, humanitarian assistance and long-term protection.
Restoring dignity starts with being seen, recognised and supported.

The RESTORE Project is implemented by Tearfund as part of the CARE-led consortium and supported by the Eastern and Southern African Humanitarian Fund (ESA HF)/Mozambique Humanitarian Fund (MHF).

Meet our new recruit, Peter McClelland. We’re so glad to have Peter join the Tearfund team in Northern Ireland as a Youth & Emerging Generation specialist.

He’s only been with us for a few weeks, but already it feels like he’s been part of the team for ages.

Your support is helping communities create lasting change.
This year, you’ve helped 19,384 local churches to improve their communities, 814 church groups and networks to start community improvement programmes, and 185 schools to train church leaders in the Transforming Communities approach.

But these numbers are really about people.
Through Transforming Communities, local churches help people identify their most pressing needs and recognise the skills and resources they already have to respond.

Women smallholder farmers play a vital role in feeding their families and communities, but climate shocks and unfair food systems can make their work even harder.

This Harvest, we want to bring their stories into focus.
Through Cropped Out, you can journey with a woman smallholder farmer, learn about her experiences and stand alongside her in prayer.

There’s no single way to make a difference.

Sometimes it starts with an idea, a challenge and the determination to see it through.

We’re incredibly grateful for people like Judah who find creative ways to support Tearfund’s work – and for everyone who gets behind them. Both of Judah’s parents are originally from Northern Ireland and they ensured that relatives back here rallied around Judah during their time at home this summer, with cousins and an uncle helping out along the way.
