Education Minister Paul Givan has today launched a public consultation on a new draft policy setting out a strategic direction for youth services for children and young-people aged 4 to 25.

We would love to encourage everyone involved in our wider DofE/ The Joint Award Initiative network to feed in to this important consultation on the future of youth work policy in Northern Ireland.

🏃‍♂️The Mourne Way Marathon is taking place this weekend and we have been asked to ensure that any DofE expedition teams out in the Mournes over the next few days do not disturb any of the marker flags that have been put in place to ensure the safety of those taking part in the Marathon.

🚩We would be grateful if all our Leaders could make sure your expedition teams due to be out this week/weekend are made aware of this!
