A great evening last night at Aligned Gym, where members came together for a really informative and engaging talk all about menopause.

A huge thank you to Wilty, the owner, for putting on a fantastic spread, making everyone feel so welcome, and for the beautiful flowers. It was a wonderful evening filled with learning, support, craic and great company. Looking forward to the next one 💜

A big thank you to our volunteer Oonagh Hughes for organising an amazing event with Dr Jayne Creighton, menopause specialist for the Northern Trust and Kathy from the Mummy Physios for coming along to Menopause Together’s event in Magherafelt tonight.
We heard about all things menopause, how to survive this transitional period and how to look after our pelvic floor health.
It was a great opportunity for the lovely ladies that we support to meet up and hear excellent information and advice.

What a wonderful evening at yesterday's Menopause Together's yoga session, organised by our amazing volunteer, Catherine.

So much time and effort went into making this event a success, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who booked a ticket and joined us. It was a lovely opportunity to relax, enjoy some beautiful yoga, and take time to connect, share experiences, and support one another over tea and fresh fruit.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped create such a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. We can't wait for the next one 💜

Volunteers’ Week finished yesterday and we highlighted each of our wonderful, passionate and empathetic women who volunteer with us because they want to help other women. However, it would be remiss of us not to mention our Co-Founders Roisin Hillman and Fiona Brown who set up the Charity. They became Non-Executive Directors / Trustees along with Karen Pateman who joined the Board and all three are also Volunteers.

Roisin and Fiona had the vision to educate, empower and support women in Northern Ireland to have a better menopause experience. Together with Karen all three endeavour to meet the strategic goals for the Charity as well deliver events to help women get good, evidence based information about the stages of menopause.

All three recognise the necessity to have the professionals in the room and encourage all women to ensure they get accurate details about symptoms and treatments from medical experts. A special shout out and thank you to all the Doctors, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and others who have supported the Charity and given their time freely to help women.

Volunteering is hard work but extremely rewarding, especially when you know that you are helping to improve health outcomes for women in your local area. Even if you are able to build a network where women can open up the conversation with others that is a fantastic start. We really do hope you will consider volunteering and if it is with us all the better!

It is day seven of Volunteers' Week and we have some amazing women who volunteer for us that we simply could not do without. We will be wrapping up featuring them across our social media platforms this week. Who knows, maybe you will be inspired to get in touch and involved with our Charity as a volunteer too. We would love to hear from you.

Before the week finishes though please meet Catherine Rojas another one of our fabulous ladies who volunteers for us. She wants to help women in all stages of menopause and has found that hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has been an essential part of her own personal management of perimenopause. Catherine also hopes to advocate for more change so women are not disadvantaged in their health management! 💜Thank you Catherine 🙌 Roisin Hillman Fiona Brown Karen Pateman

It is Volunteers' Week and we still have some amazing women to feature who volunteer for us and that we simply could not do without. We will be finishing this round of highlighting how wonderful our volunteers are across our social media platforms tomorrow. Who knows, maybe you will be inspired to get in touch and involved with our Charity as a volunteer too. We would love to hear from you.

In the meantime - meet Kelly Loughran one of our inspirational volunteers who covers Banbridge and most often with another volunteer who we featured yesterday Jill McKelvey. The prefer to work together, helping each other to support women in their local area around all stages of menopause wherever they can. Kelly does not let anything keep her from her passion and battles through her own health difficulties with a permanent smile on her face💜 Thank you Kelly 🙌 Roisin Hillman Fiona Brown Karen Pateman
