Queen Elizabeth II was born on this day 100 years ago.

Duke of Schomberg LOL486 remembers her unstinting faith, selfless service and devotion to her subjects.

Her strong and dignified leadership was an inspiration to us all. Always remembered, Never forgotten 🌹🇬🇧

Family, friends and Brethren there is a memorabilia fair in the Musem of Orange History at Scomberg House, 368 Cregagh Road,Belfast BT6 9EY on the 25th April 10am to 4pm.

Clifton Street Orange Arch Committee will be present with a stall to raise funds for the many different Orange causes they donate to and maintain.

STAND UP FOR THE UNION – YOUR VOTE IS OUR DEFENCE 🗳️
If we want a City Council that respects our heritage and prioritises our place in the United Kingdom, we must show up at the ballot box. For too long, low turnout in our heartlands has left our communities at a disadvantage in City Hall.

Our influence is being diluted—not by a lack of support, but by a lack of participation. At the council level, a few hundred votes can be the difference between a Unionist seat and a Republican/ Alliance gain. This is a gap we can close right across Belfast.

The Reality of the "Middle Ground"
Let’s be clear: The Alliance Party are not Unionists. While they claim neutrality, their actions speak louder:
• The West Belfast Test: Alliance receives less than 2% of the vote in Republican West Belfast. They don't challenge the Republican machine; they ignore it.
• The Voting Record: In City Hall, they consistently side with Republicans on the issues that matter to our culture and identity. Their focus isn't "neutrality"—it's keeping Unionists out.

There is nothing sectarian or wrong about standing up for our community's interests. Having a strong Unionist majority is the only way to stop the relentless culture attacks and end the "debacle" debates about world events that have nothing to do with fixing our streets.

The Resource Gap
We are up against a massive machine:
Sinn Féin is the richest political party on both sides of the border with an army to support their candidates
The Alliance candidates often use professional outside agencies for their promotion and posters.

Meanwhile, many Unionist candidates are self-funded or rely on small local donations.
Being a Unionist is about more than coming out on the 12th of July. It’s about securing our future for the other 364 days of the year.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY:
1. ✅ Register: Are you and your family on the electoral roll?
2. 🤝 Support: Can you help a local candidate with leafleting or canvassing?
3. 📣 Share: Like and follow this page to stay updated on how we can maximise our community's voice.
We are committed to promoting ALL Unionist candidates. Let’s stop the decline. Let’s get to work.

Great to see the front of our hall after it's spruce up a few months ago

Opened in January 1885/1886 and designed by William Batt, the Clifton Street Orange Hall in Belfast is the largest purpose-built Orange Hall in the world. Located at 84 Clifton Street, it is famous for the 12-foot bronze statue of King William III, added in 1889. It remains an active meeting place, museum, and hub for Loyal Order heritage and home to Duke of Schomberg LOL486 to name but one.
