Cub section went on their summer camp to Crawfordsburn. Very busy weekend started with a hike into Bangor for icecream and a train ride to the beach. Saturday had us ziplining, caving, challenge courses and Ai***ft. We finished the day with Pizza from The Pizza Place and a Campfire, with 4 new cubs being invested. Today finished with Crate climbing and grass sledging!

Packed out weekend and 19 happy cubs and 5 happy leaders.

Another day another Challenging adventure for our Scouts

Ethan Corrigan sets out with Cian from Mallow scouts on the Venture Challenge. Starting in Laois they'll be travelling across the country

The Venture Challenge is a multi-day expedition for Venture Scouts (ages 15–17) in Scouting Ireland. Teams of two traverse the countryside, carrying limited supplies, maps, and a handful of community and environmental projects, aiming to complete a demanding 100km trek while connecting with local communities

Good luck Ethan and Cian on the road. If you see them traversing the country, make sure you stop and say hello (and perhaps offer them a cool ie cream treat 😉)
