St Michaels 31st Belfast Scouts St Michaels Scouts has been an integral part of the community since beginning in 1983.

The Scout group caters for both boys and girls from the ages of 6 to 25 with plenty of volunteering opportunities.

Another day another Challenging adventure for our Scouts

Ethan Corrigan sets out with Cian from Mallow scouts on the Venture Challenge. Starting in Laois they'll be travelling across the country

The Venture Challenge is a multi-day expedition for Venture Scouts (ages 15–17) in Scouting Ireland. Teams of two traverse the countryside, carrying limited supplies, maps, and a handful of community and environmental projects, aiming to complete a demanding 100km trek while connecting with local communities

Good luck Ethan and Cian on the road. If you see them traversing the country, make sure you stop and say hello (and perhaps offer them a cool ie cream treat 😉)

And they did it ! 300km (200km walking) they travelled from Vienna to Prague, living off €10 per day, and kindness of strangers. They slept in fields, farms and Fire stations. 10 hards days of trekking

Meabh and Cillian (19/29th Ballygunner Waterford), along with Adam and Chenny from Whiteabbey Scouts achieved the Explorer Belt.

Another Transatlantic adventure for the Rovers!

Amy, Ella and Michael are travelling to Tomahawk Scout Centre in Wisconsin USA. They will be taking part in International Exchange programme for 5 weeks and becoming camp councillors. Teaching and learning new skills

Best of Luck to Meabh, who is partner up Cillian from 19th/29th Waterford Scouts. They are taking part in the Rover Explorer Belt Challenge. They will be hiking and travelling 300km across Austria 🇦🇹 and Czechia 🇨🇿 over the next 2 weeks
