“I just help with the collections.”

But there’s no “just” in volunteering.

Behind every collection, every event and every family supported by Autism NI are volunteers making it possible.

This , we’re saying thank you.

Every time you show up, it matters.

We recently delivered Keeping Children and Adults Safe training to McDonald's management team. The session explored the legal and policy context of safeguarding and how McDonald’s values linked with this, categories of abuse and possible indicators staff might become aware of, how to respond appropriately to a disclosure of abuse, and how to record and report concerns. Safeguarding concerns could arise in relation to a staff member, a customer, or a partner company. The team now feel more confident in responding.

🎉Feedback from this session included: "I learned a lot", "It was very engaging and insightful" and "This was great training for the whole management team".
