The Green Party has become the very thing it claims to fight against.
By passing a motion declaring Zionism a form of racism, the grassroots membership has institutionalised prejudice, turning an environmental movement into a hostile environment for Jewish members. In a chilling echo of 1930s N**i ideology, this political rhetoric seeks to isolate, label, and strip a specific ethnoreligious group of their right to self-determination and identity protection.
You would think the Green Party would have learnt from the historical implications of such a policy. The polarization of the 2001 Durban conference completely fractured the UN's subsequent anti-racism framework, leading to escalating Western boycotts over successive review summits. It was very bad for the UN’s anti racism stance and Durban was dead in the water.
The depth of this betrayal at this Green Party conference was laid bare on the conference floor. Elise Benjamin, a founding member of the Jewish Greens, pinned her inclusion card to her chest in the shape of a yellow star, warning that the party was reviving the dark, exclusionary tactics of history: "This is a hostile environment... I am terrified."
When your own MPs publicly rebel and Jewish members are left in tears, you haven’t won an argument—you have lost your moral compass. The Greens have traded equality for extremism.

This week the team at the March of Life House in Caesarea, had the privilege of welcoming eight Holocaust survivors from Netanya—an encounter that deeply moved them and left a lasting impression. 🌿🕊️

Among them was 95-year-old W. Margolin, born in what was then Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). Speaking on behalf of the group, he shared his harrowing life story: he lost over 60 family members during World War II. He vividly recalled the German Wehrmacht’s siege of the city. As a ten-year-old boy, he and a friend would climb onto the rooftops of Leningrad to remove incendiary bomb fragments. His family eventually managed to escape, but upon their return after the war, the city lay in ruins, and countless neighbors, friends, and relatives had vanished without a trace. Today, the death toll from the siege is estimated at over one million people. Each of our guests could have told their own story of suffering and the will to survive.

In addition to the survivors' accounts, we also heard from German volunteers who have begun to come to terms with their own families' histories from World War II. Driven by this awareness, they have become friends of Israel and return every year to serve and provide support on the ground.

We concluded the day in grateful fellowship over a shared meal. It is an honor and a heartfelt mission for us to listen, build bridges, and remember. 🕯️✨
