Ann McGeeney Trust Fund The Trust will focus on the work Ann was passionate about; women's groups, minority groups, community development and cross border peace building.

It will make grants that can make a significant difference to individuals and small organisations.

๐Ÿ”น Closing Soon - The Ann McGeeney Trust Fund for women โ€“ looking back, reaching forward ๐Ÿ”น

Closing Date: Thursday 17th October, 13:00

This fund will provide bursaries to individuals to help build resilience, remove barriers to employment and training, and/or build on opportunities they may have to achieve a positive future.

Who can apply:

๐Ÿ”น Individual women aged 18 and over, living in Northern Ireland (and Republic of Ireland), who are striving to get into, or back into employment
๐Ÿ”น Applicants will preferably be affiliated to a constituted community/womenโ€™s group and have the support of that organisation, however, if you are not, you will still be eligible to apply

While not exclusive, the Fund welcomes applications for Bursaries that address the following:

๐Ÿ”น Personal development and confidence building
๐Ÿ”น Overcoming barriers to employment, education or training
๐Ÿ”น Making the first steps towards re-entering the workplace

Fantastic end to the Ann McGeeney Trust Fund Conference this afternoon with a panel discussion led by Lata Sharma, that included Roisin Wood, CEO, Community Foundation for Northern Ireland, Bronagh Hinds CBE, Founder, DemocraShe, Dr Marianne O'Shea, Assistant Professor, Maynooth University and Betty Carlisle, CEO, Shankill Women's Centre. We were also pleased to launch a new Women's Fund in collaboration with the Anne McGeeney Trust Fund which we will share more information on soon.
