We’re delighted to welcome Graduate Award recipient Ben Smith to Belfast Print Workshop.

Working primarily in screen printing and hard-ground etching, Ben explores the relationship between natural forms and architectural structures. Through layered patterns, textures, and repeated imagery, his work examines how memory becomes embedded within the spaces we inhabit, creating compositions that blur the boundaries between the organic and the constructed.

We look forward to having him in the studio

TONIGHT!!

We are so excited to welcome you all to the opening of Líne by Jenny Bailie

Opens 2nd July 6-9pm

A new experimental exhibition exploring colour perception and the possibilities of the Líne. Using multi-layered steel plate etching, the works build complex optical colour mixes through overlapping structure and print.

Jenny Bailie’s practice is rooted in years of studio experimentation, treating etching as a space for testing and innovation. Her recent work is inspired by Rossen Daskalov’s multi-plate etching workshop at BPW (2025).

We’re delighted to welcome Graduate Award recipient Louis Hutchinson to Belfast Print Workshop.

Working across paper lithography, monoprint, and experimental printmaking processes, Louis creates layered, tactile works that explore the body, movement, and resilience. Drawing on his experience of living with hydrocephalus, his practice reflects on the unseen systems that sustain us, translating ideas of pressure, flow, and adaptation into abstract printed forms.

We look forward to having him in the studio.
