📢 School Uniform Project – Drop-Off Point 📢

We’re pleased to let everyone know that the McDonald Centre is now an official drop-off location for the School Uniform Project.

If you have any good-quality school uniforms, PE kits, school shoes, coats, or other school essentials that your children have outgrown, please consider donating them. Your donations can make a real difference to local families and help ensure every child has access to the items they need for school.

Thank you for supporting the School Uniform Project and helping our community come together to support local children and families. ❤️

📚 It’s been a busy and rewarding year so far at McDonald Centre!

We’ve had the privilege of delivering a wide range of education programmes with local schools across North Belfast, working alongside so many inspiring young people and dedicated teachers.

Through our work, we aim to raise young aspirations while supporting mental and physical wellbeing, as well as building literacy and digital skills for the future. From hands-on activities to meaningful discussions, it’s been fantastic to see students learning, growing, and engaging every step of the way.

A huge thank you to all the schools, staff, and students who have been part of this journey — your enthusiasm and support make it all possible.

We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to our funders, Children in Need, RAISE Programme, and Belfast City Council for their continued support in making this work possible.

The RAISE Programme is a working with 18 communities across Northern Ireland to tackle educational disadvantage. Together, we’re focused on raising aspirations and boosting achievement for children and young people.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited for what’s still to come!
