We’re re-advertising our exciting Women’s Hub Navigator opportunity at The Welcome Organisation!

This is a unique two-year fixed-term role leading an innovative pilot project focused on improving outcomes for women experiencing chronic homelessness and multiple exclusion.

Working alongside partners across housing, health, justice and homelessness services, the successful candidate will help develop a trauma-informed, holistic and gender-responsive approach to support - improving pathways, strengthening collaboration and creating better outcomes for women.

💷 Salary: £41,511
🕒 Hours: 37.5 hours per week
📅 Fixed term: 2 years
📍 Based in Belfast

We’re looking for someone with experience of project management, multi-agency partnership working, service improvement and supporting women with complex needs.

It doesn’t disappear when Christmas is over, and it isn’t something that only needs attention when Belfast is in the spotlight.

Rough sleeping is a year-round reality for people across our city. Every day, our teams and other organisations across Belfast are out supporting people who are sleeping rough, building relationships, responding to immediate needs and working alongside people to help them move away from homelessness.

As the Fleadh takes place across Belfast, we want to keep the conversation focused on what matters, people experiencing homelessness need support all year round.

We’re sharing this podcast featuring Susan Duncan, Head of Operations, who talks about rough sleeping, homelessness and the realities faced by people living on the streets of Belfast.

If you notice anyone who may need assistance - or signs of rough sleeping such as discarded sleeping bags, tents, or cardboard bedding - please let us know so Outreach teams can check in and offer help.

If you've been camping at 𝗢𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸, please consider donating your unwanted sleeping bag before you head home.

We've placed 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝘅𝗲𝘀 at the campsite:

Our Assertive Street Outreach Team will be collecting donations from the boxes throughout the week, helping ensure every sleeping bag goes on to support people experiencing homelessness across Belfast.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀, 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 💡

Our final day in Scotland took us to Harriet Gardens, Social Bite's village in South Lanarkshire, which opened in April 2026.

A huge thank you to Amy and Jenny from Social Bite for the warm welcome, the tour of the village, and for sharing how projects like Harriet Gardens are helping people experiencing and at risk of homelessness build brighter futures ✨

Our team returns to Belfast with valuable insight, new ideas, and strengthened partnerships as we continue working to develop innovative ways to support people affected by homelessness.

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗵 📚

Our team has had a brilliant couple of days visiting organisations making a real difference in the fight against homelessness.

Yesterday, we visited Bethany Christian Trust Welcome Centre, where we toured their Rapid Re-accommodation service and met with Service Manager James to learn more about the support they provide.

Today started with a visit to Social Bite Café where we saw first hand, how social enterprise creates opportunities while helping to tackle homelessness.

It's been a fantastic opportunity to share ideas, learn from others, and bring back inspiration to help strengthen the work we do here at The Welcome Organisation 🧡

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 💛

Everyone deserves access to healthcare, regardless of their circumstances.

Our Mobile Health Unit delivers vital health clinics across Belfast and Derry/Londonderry, helping people experiencing homelessness access healthcare, advice, testing and support in a safe, welcoming environment.

Today, we're proud to wear our World Hepatitis Day t-shirts to raise awareness, challenge stigma and support the global effort to eliminate Hepatitis C.

Together, we can make sure no one is left behind.
