On rememberance Sunday the association paid our respects to the men and women who have laid down their lives in the defence of our nation.
After parading from Sydenham with the blues and royals fb and lol 609 and lol 1014 we had a service on the Belmont road at the war memorial.
Many thanks to all who took part and the members of the public who turned up to pay their respects.

Recently the association took part in the Ulster day parade.
Parading with the 36th Ulster division memorial association accompanied by the blues and royals fb and the loyal fb.
A great day in memory of the men of the 36th Ulster division who were formed on that day 110 years ago.

The society has just returned from another great trip to the battlefields of the Somme.
We had the pleasure this time of accompanying the blues and royals Fb as the paraded and played at individual graves that had personal stories for some of us.
Also present were members of Dundela football club and LOL 609.
A memorable trip where we visited the Ulster tower, thepvial memorial to the missing on day 1, rounded of by parading through bertnancourt, and the linfield memorial.
Day 2 brought us to vimy ridge and the Canadian memorial, without doubt one of the best memorials on the Somme, and also the Anzac memorial.
Day 3 we visited Tyne cot cemetery, and wrapped it all up accompanying the blues and royals as the marched to the menin gate for the last post ceremony.
We also visited a relatives graves of two of our members.
And paid a moving tribute to a distant in-law of our chairman, and let an elderly relative in her 90s see something she never thought she would ever see.
