UPDATE: Hey, members!

We’re sure by now you have heard about the Coronavirus pandemic. As unnecessary social gatherings have been advised against and under the guidance of SOLIDWORKS, all SOLIDWORKS User Groups will be postponing in-person user group meetings for a few weeks.

But there is some good news! We’re sticking to our mission to empower you all to learn from and teach each other and taking this opportunity to roll out an alternative format for our meetings. When we can, we’ll absolutely be bringing back our traditional in-person Meetups, but for now, we want to introduce everyone to virtual meetings too.

For our "Launch Meeting" next Thursday, 30th April @ 7pm, we’ll be using GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar to support virtual meetings. These tools give us more flexibility to bring in awesome guest speakers from around the world, and it means our members can attend from anywhere in the world on any device.

Firstly, and this is the important bit, SIGN UP to the event on MeetUp:

If you could please do this in good time before joining the online meeting room it would be great to know names in advance.

Hi folks! Due to everything going on and the current lock down situation we'll be working towards making the first user group meeting a virtual one. The hope is that this will be a positive and allow more people to attend and learn together. Please keep an eye out for further updates.

Hello All,

The mission of the SolidWorks User Group Network (SWUGN) is to empower real people who use SolidWorks products to collaborate with, learn from, and teach others. Connect with us anytime, anywhere, and on any device for in-depth technical conversations and face-to-face networking. We'll see you there!

The purpose of the Northern Ireland SolidWorks User Group (NISWUG) committee is to assist in the development, support and continuation of local SolidWorks users and provide a national forum where local users can network and share information on a peer-to-peer basis. NISWUG is also a direct channel for the latest updates directly from SolidWorks.

We hope to see you at one of our events in the very near future - Keep an eye on the Meetup page for the latest event locations and agendas, this is where they'll be posted first!
