👀 Calling all East Belfast District Scouts, Explorers & Young Leaders aged 15-17! 📢

🟣⚜️ North Down Scouts have received funding from the James Kane Foundation and together with SERC, have organised a two week programme for 15-17 year olds in Scouts! & they have kindly shared this opportunity with us in East Belfast..

🔴⚜️ East Belfast Scouts are delighted to be able to share in this East Region-wide Summer STEM Camp for Scouts, Explorers & Young Leaders aged 15–17 this summer! This is an exciting opportunity for young people to get hands-on experience in real-world STEM careers through a series of practical workshops delivered alongside industry partners and specialists!

👀 Activities include:

⚡ Electrical Installation

🌍 Green Technology & Renewable Energy

🛠 Construction & Joinery

💻 Coding & AI

🔐 Cyber Security

🧪 CSI Forensics

🎯 Careers & Employability

🆓️ All sessions are fully funded and completely FREE of charge to members of Scouts aged 15-17..

🚧 Workshops are designed to help young people..

🌍 Explore future career pathways

💪 Build confidence and practical skills

🤝 Meet people working in industry

🔬 Experience STEM in a fun and engaging way.

⚠️ Some sessions have limited availability (20–28 places), so early registration is strongly encouraged.

📍 Locations: North Down Scouts / SERC Newtownards (selected sessions)

⚜️ East Belfast District Scouts have Scout Groups offering the adventure of the DofE Awards in Dundonald, Gilnahirk, Knock, Stormont, Belmont, Bloomfield, Strandtown & Sydenham

Between April 2025 and March 2026, young people doing their DofE through Scouts gave an amazing 193,804 hours of their time to help their communities.
