3rd & 4th October 2026, Lisburn Woodland 📍

🪓 Think you’ve got what it takes to become the ultimate Tomahawk Champion? 🎯

🔴 Grab your team, test your aim, sharpen your skills and take on a day of woodland challenges, friendly competition and plenty of fun! But remember… every throw counts! 👀

🏕️ THE CHALLENGE
Teams are made up of 3 Scouts or 3 Explorers..
💰 £10 per team
👥 Maximum of 3 teams per Group

🪓 You’ll need accuracy, concentration, teamwork and a steady hand to climb your way to the top. Can your team hit the target and handle the pressure? 🎯

⏰ COMPETITION TIME SLOTS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY..

10:00am – 11:00am 🪓
Get your first throws in and show us what you’ve got!

11:00am — 12:00 noon 🎯
The competition heats up — accuracy is everything!

12:00 noon – 1:00pm 🏹
Keep your focus and rack up those points!

1:00pm – 2:00pm 🔥
Halfway through the challenge — can your team stay on target?

2:00pm – 3:00pm 💪
The pressure is on! Every throw could make the difference

3:00pm – 4:00pm 🏆
Final throws, final chances and the race for glory!

🔵⚜️ Explorer Scouts are young people aged 15 - 17 years who take on exciting challenges, ambitious projects and meaningful community action. They learn to lead, plan, organise events and push themselves further than they ever thought possible!

🎖✨ ️Explorers can earn top awards including the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Chief Scout’s Platinum & Diamond Awards and the King’s Scout Award!

🔥✨ ️The Explorer Scout programme offers a wide range of activities - from traditional Scouting skills like camping, survival & cooking - adventurous activities like mountaineering & watersports - and modern day skills like content creation, leadership & employability skills!

🔵⚜️ Explorer Scouts also have the opportunity to be part of The Young Leaders’ Scheme, which develops their leadership skills and sense of responsibility by helping to run meetings, events & activities for the younger sections

⚜️ Scouts are boys & girls aged 10½ - 14 years who THRIVE on outdoor adventure, learning practical skills and building confidence through TEAMWORK & rising to the challenge!

✨️ Activities & SKILLS include - camping, hiking, cooking outdoors, pioneering projects & global expeditions. Paddle sports, climbing & abseiling, safety, navigation & orienteering, bushcraft & shelter building, firelighting skills, first aid & more!

✨️ Scouts aims to build and develop young people’s independence & self-CONFIDENCE and sense of adventure & outdoor skills, as well as encouraging them to EXPLORE their beliefs & attitudes and be creative

✨ ️Scouts are encouraged to work TOGETHER and take the lead on all sorts of projects, from community impact, to planning games and activities for their regular meetings & events

🟣⚜️ At Scouts, everyone can find their place to belong. . as young people are supported & encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities as part of their programme of traditional Scouting skills as well as the full spectrum of adventurous activities - from abseiling & zip line! To axe throwing & zorbing!

⚜️ Participation leads to badges & AWARDS that young people will gain through Scouts to recognise their many ACHIEVEMENTS!

✨️ Activities like climbing, caving, watersports, hiking, communications & pioneering as well as camping & residential experiences to earn activity BADGES & Challenge Awards - through adventure, the outdoors, hobbies, global issues, beliefs & values - all while allowing Cubs to be creative and get involved in their local communities

⚜️ RLVs, DLVs and trainers will be on hand to help with all things Scouting. Whether it’s welcome conversations, disclosure checks, adding leaders to the system, accessing training, online Membership system, activity permits, wood badge validation or support with events - we’re here to help!

🟢 Drop in anytime TONIGHT between 7pm - 9pm

☕🍵 Tea and coffee is available as always! & if all you need is a chat and a catch-up with other leaders, that’s absolutely fine too!
