Belfast Stories is going to be a fantastic event! 🎉

Calling all young men and men, come along and be part of what promises to be a brilliant event, with stories, conversations and experiences from the local community.

💚 We are delighted to launch Threads of Ligoniel Belfast Stories! 💚

Our very first event is our Dads & Lads Evening, taking place at the Working Men’s Club this coming Monday, from 6–8pm.

Come along, share your stories and memories, and help us capture and preserve the history of our village. 🏡

📸 Bring along your old photographs, memorabilia, or anything else from the past that you’d love to share with us. We’d love to see them and hear the stories behind them!

There will be people there on the night to listen to and document your stories, helping us build a collection of memories that can be treasured for years to come.

And, of course, we’ll have some fabulous food for everyone to enjoy! 🍽️

So come along, bring your memories, bring your stories, and most importantly, bring yourselves.

Let’s celebrate Ligoniel and the people who have made it what it is. 💚

✨ Last Friday, we had lash lift training session with Chic Beauty!

Our young people had a brilliant day getting hands-on experience, learning new skills and having a bit of fun along the way. It was great to see everyone getting stuck in and building their confidence throughout the session.

We had our lovely young people out at Bog Meadows yesterday with the team from Ulster Wildlife. 🌿

It was a great opportunity to get outdoors, learn about nature and wildlife, and spend time exploring the space together.

Our CyberQuest Cohort 9 young people enjoyed a team-building session yesterday at the O2 Belfast, with pizza and a game of mini golf.

It was a great opportunity for the group to get together, build relationships, strengthen teamwork and enjoy some time away from the classroom.

A bit of friendly competition, plenty of laughs and a great way to build connections within the group!

Our CyberQuest young people recently visited AMTCE in Dundalk to explore the future of manufacturing and security.

The visit gave participants an insight into emerging technologies, innovation and the evolving opportunities within the manufacturing and technology sectors.

Experiences like these help our young people broaden their horizons, develop new interests and discover potential career pathways in industries that are shaping the future.

A big thank you to the team at AMTCE for welcoming our group and providing such a valuable learning experience.
