Staff hit the ground early this morning, linking in with schools to support young people receiving their GCSE results.

We know Results Day can be daunting, with lots of questions and uncertainty about what comes next. We have pop-ups at St Colm’s, St Louise’s and Nendrum College, where our team are on hand to provide information, support and advice.

Whether you need help understanding your options, exploring alternative pathways or simply want someone to talk things through with, we’re here to support you. 💙

Support for Post-16 Choices 🎓✨

Joining us tomorrow will be Springvale Learning Youth Department, who will be on hand to provide additional guidance and support to our pupils, parents and carers.

Their team will help ensure everyone has access to the relevant information and advice needed to make informed choices about Post-16 studies and the next steps in their education journey. 📚

A fantastic morning with our Propel young people as they explored the importance of effective communication skills while continuing to work towards their OCN Peer Mentoring qualification.

A big well done to everyone for their enthusiasm and participation throughout the session with staff members Rachael and Catherine. As always, there was plenty of laughs, great discussions, and fantastic work being done. 👏

Our team member Bradley was out and about in Belfast during the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, delivering leaflets and making the most of the celebrations. It was a brilliant opportunity to connect with people, showcase what we have to offer, and enjoy the incredible buzz that this amazing event brings to the city.

Last night, our Pride flag and flagpole were taken from outside our premises.

While we’re disappointed that someone chose to remove a symbol that represents inclusion, acceptance and support, this isn’t really about the flag itself. It’s about what it represents, and that message can’t be taken down.

We’re reviewing the surrounding CCTV, but this morning our focus is on reminding our staff, young people and community that everyone is welcome here. We will continue to stand proudly alongside our LGBTQ+ community, and one act won’t change that.

Pride isn’t just a month or a flag. It’s a commitment to creating safe, inclusive spaces where everyone belongs. 🏳️‍🌈
