Yesterday morning at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, something special happened.

We gathered a group of leaders, funders, clinicians, parents, and supporters for a simple reason: to share a vision for dedicated parent accommodation that our children's hospital so desperately needs.

McAdam Design presented architectural plans and timelines, we heard from parents; David, Labhaoise, Caillie, and Jo-Marie. They shared what its like to navigate long hospital stays with a critically ill child. They reminded us that when a child is in hospital, medical care is only half the battle. Caring for families, giving them a place to sleep, rest, and hold their family together is just as critical.

This isn't just about bricks and mortar. It’s about comfort, dignity, and human resilience.

To everyone who gathered for this intimate preview event yesterday, thank you for listening. We have agreed on a site, we have the plans, and now we need to raise the funds.

We have the power to make this happen. It’s time to Make Room for Families.

What started as an idea for our Sparkle Ball last year has turned into something transformative for children cared for at the Children's hospital...

Throughout September, the Little Heroes Sparkle Choir met every Sunday to rehearse.

Over the last year, something really special has happened, not just among the children, who built deep friendships, but among their parents and carers too. It became a community for families from all different backgrounds and journeys to come together, connect and sing their hearts out.

When we chose "This Is Me" from The Greatest Showman, we had no idea just how deeply that song already resonated with so many of our families. It was so much more than just a track on a playlist.

Last week, the choir took the stage in front of over 800 people at the Construction Employers Federation Awards at ICC Belfast

They were absolutely incredible.

Just under 2 weeks until Áine and Victoria take on the Dublin Marathon, and they have already raised an astounding £3,000+!

Fresh off the Belfast City half marathon with infectious energy, these two superstars are running every mile to raise money for Little Heroes.

Since suffering a life-changing burn in April 2023, Áine's son Caoimhín has spent weeks in the Belfast Royal Hospital for Sick Children (between PICU & Paul Ward), enduring countless surgeries and hurdles. Through it all, he continues to inspire everyone around him with his bravery and cheeky smile. ❤️

Pilates Fundraiser: Áine & Victoria are also hosting a Pilates event on October 17th to keep the support growing!

7 Peaks, 1 Team, and £4,859 raised for Little Heroes!

On August 17th, Jenna Love and the incredible team from Prime strong bootcamp by 1-1Fitness in Portadown took on the tough 7 Peaks Challenge across the Mourne Mountains.
