It’s not all about grand gestures or big, elaborate programmes.

More often, church and community transformation begins with rebuilding or building trust. Rather than doing more events, churches choose to listen, build relationships, and show up consistently alongside their communities.

Transformation doesn’t happen quickly, but it does happen when people come first.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the communities You have placed us in. While we are grateful for the many blessings we have, we recognise that there are people around us who are struggling and in need of help.

We pray that You would inspire and equip Your Church to be a light in every place. Bring hope, healing and restoration to those who need it most. Help us to listen deeply to You and to those around us, and give us the courage to step out in faith – serving with love and compassion.

CCT brings together individuals, the church, and the wider community. It helps people recognise their value, discover the resources they already have, and work together to create lasting change.

It’s not about quick fixes or ready-made solutions. Instead, it’s about listening well — to God, to one another, and to the community — and supporting change that is locally led, relational, and sustainable.

We are Thrive Ireland — a Christian charity passionate about seeing communities flourish.

We work with local churches across Ireland, equipping and supporting them to bring meaningful, lasting change in their communities. We believe that when individuals flourish, the Church flourishes; and when the Church flourishes, communities can truly thrive.

Through a biblically grounded approach, we empower people to recognise and use the skills, gifts, and resources they already have. We don’t arrive with quick fixes or ready-made solutions. Instead, we come alongside churches and communities, supporting them as they take ownership of change that is both locally led and sustainable.

Our heart is to see faith lived out in everyday life; supporting people both practically and spiritually, and building stronger, more connected communities along the way.

Great to see our Director, Diane Holt, and Board member, Nicola Temple, at the Baptist Assembly 2026 this weekend — a brilliant opportunity to connect, learn and share with others across the Baptist family.

Diane and Nicola shared insights on missionary engagement in local communities, using the Light Wheel - a practical CCT approach developed from the understanding of Shalom, that helps unpack community wellbeing holistically through relationships with God, self, others and creation.

It’s always encouraging to be part of these wider conversations and partnerships.
