Tonight we had lots of fun playing outdoor games and of course we ended it with a football match and milk shakes to cool us down⚽️

Lots off creative arts and crafts 🎨

A game of Charades is always good fun and of course competitive 🙈

✨ THURSDAY & FRIDAY ✨

The past two evenings have been so much fun!! Lots of games out on the pitch alongside gymnastics and football ⚽️

It may be lashing and cold but that didn’t stop the milkshakes flowing this evening 🤤 we also decorated Halloween masks as we enter spooky season 👻

Our girls have been flat out practicing their dance solos’ and using their normal club time to keep up the hard work 👏

Our young men’s group helped sort out the art room and spaces in the club last night taking pride in their wee club 🫶

Our sky camp group had their first session tonight before their big meet up on Tuesday, they’re looking forward to getting stuck in and of course the residential in November 🤩

A busy week and we know it’s just going to get busier over the coming weeks with new groups starting up for our inters/seniors and the cold nights coming in🤎

🎓✨ Horizons Graduation 2026! ✨🎓

Tonight, we celebrated a fantastic milestone as our young people graduated from their 18-month Horizons Leadership Programme! In partnership with New Lodge Youth Centre 🫶

Over the past 18 months, the group have developed new skills, gained accreditations and completed training, taken part in social action and enterprise projects, experienced a trip to France, made memories to last a lifetime and built friendships along the way. 🫶

But most importantly, they’ve had fun, supported one another and grown together as a group✨

We couldn’t be prouder of everything they have achieved and the young people they have become throughout this journey! 🌟

A huge well done to each and every one of you — you should be so proud of yourselves and all you have accomplished! 👏🥰

Here’s to the memories made, the friendships built and the bright futures ahead! 💫

✨ THURSDAYS ✨

Tonight our P3/4 session had lots of fun making slime 🤩 we played chaseys and football on the pitch and even done some colouring in 🖼️

Our lovely dancers started working on their solos for the Christmas show and let’s just say we’re impressed as always at the effort and dedication the girls put in🥰

Our young men’s group had a pretty chill session this evening with some open discussions whilst playing football 👏

✨ LAST NIGHT ✨

Our group with Glencairn Youth Club got stuck into planning the next few weeks of their programme, done some team building games & got food 🤩

Our Horizons group met up with Fortwiliiam Youth Centre & Mountcollyer Youth Centre to celebrate the journey they’ve been on before their graduation next week 🥳

In the club we made food, played games, got pizza, played football and celebrated a very special persons birthday (which is today) our Ethan 🫶

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our former youth leader, Maura.

For 30 years, Maura dedicated herself to the Ligoniel community, shaping countless lives with her kindness, guidance, and unwavering support and the odd “YER BARRED” She was a true inspiration to us all, and her legacy will forever be in our memories. She was fierce but had a heart of gold.

To honor Maura's incredible impact, we will be opening a book of condolences at the youth club.

We invite all past members and anyone who knew Maura to come down and share their memories and messages. Your words will be a source of comfort to her family and a testament to the profound difference she made in so many lives and will show her family how much she was cherished by the Ligoniel community.

We will have the book this evening if anyone wishes to call between 7:15pm-9pm
