We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Allan Ahlberg, beloved children’s author and cherished contributor to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
Since the launch of the Imagination Library in the UK in 2008, the timeless stories of Allan and Janet Ahlberg—"Funnybones," "Each Peach Pear Plum," "Peepo!"—have brought joy and comfort to families across the UK, Ireland, the USA, and Canada.
These beloved books have been read aloud with laughter, wonder, and love—and will continue to be, for generations to come.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Allan’s family, friends, and all who were touched by his words.
