The Weekday Conservation Team has a regular programme of practical activities on Mondays and Thursday (excluding bank holidays) to help improve and maintain Local Nature Reserves (LNR), Sites of Special Scientific Interst (SSSI) and Public Rights of Way. This can include Hedgelaying, coppicing, scrub clearance, grassland management, ditch clearance, footpath clearance, constructing countryside fur
niture and many more activities. You can help with this as well as improve your own wellbeing through physical excercise, meeting new people and learning new skills. When: Mondays and Thursdays, 9am- 5pm
Meet: The Gatehouse, Foster Hill Road, Bedford, MK41 7TD (Transport to site provided from here). Bring: Sturdy footwear, packed lunch and wet weather clothing. Provided: Tools, training and the all important tea, coffee and biscuits!
