This week clients have been using odds and ends activities we have done in the past. These have included decorating wooden butterflies and ceramic pencil holders. We have also finished our wooden bunting. All of our clients have contributed and we are really pleased with the result!

Other activities included, connect 4, word searches, jigsaws, dominoes, puzzles, quizzes, colouring and triominoes.

Chair based exercise classes took place this week.

For lunch this week Angela cooked Pork slices with roast potatoes, cauliflower, peas and lemon meringue pie for dessert!

This week clients have been making Birthday Cards. Its always popular and the clients can choose their own designs. We also played a game on the Whiteboard where we named as many body parts starting with 3 letter words up to 9 letter words. We managed to find over 90 words! We also finished painting our wooden bunting.

Other activities included, connect 4, word searches, jigsaws, dominoes, puzzles, quizzes, colouring and triominoes.

For lunch this week Angela cooked corned beef hash with carrots and green beans and Cherry bakewell tart and ice cream for dessert!

For the last 2 weeks clients have been painting pencil holders in the shape of a dog. They have painted them in all different colours.

Other activities included, connect 4, word searches, jigsaws, dominoes, puzzles, quizzes, colouring and triominoes.

For lunch this week Angela cooked scampi, chips and peas with fruit, meringues and cream for dessert!

This week clients have been finishing off their ceramic boots and books. We have also started making wooden bunting where all clients design and paint a piece and when finished we will hang them up on the wall.

​Thanks again to Kempston Hammers Community Choir who came in last Tuesday to entertain us. Its always great to have a sing along and the clients really enjoy their visit.

For lunch this week Jackie cooked sausages, mash potatoes, peas and carrots with mandarin cheesecake and cream for dessert!

This week clients painted ornamental wellington boots which can be used to hold pens or dried flowers.Some clients finished theirs this week but most will complete next week.

Thanks again to Kempston Hammers Community Choir who came in last Thursday to entertain us. They have a varied programme and clients, staff and volunteers always enjoy their visits.

We also played a bird anagram game on the whiteboard and name five of various items and places.

Over the last two weeks clients have been decorating wooden spoons, fans and ceramic lighthouses where a battery powered tea light can be placed in them. I think they look really good and the clients have enjoyed all the activities. They can sit, create and all have a good chat around the table.

Things are looking up for the bank holiday weekend with some lovely weather forecast. Hope everyone really enjoys the upturn in temperatures.

This week clients finished decorating and planting up their pots, They could choose between Busy Lizzies, Pansies and Begonias. We have all enjoyed the process and everyone has a lovely plant and pot to take home.

Over the last two weeks clients have been painting a base coat on a terracotta flower pot and then creating their own designs. Next week we will be planting a flower in them. I think there has been some lovely designs using a mixture of paints, vinyl and sharpie pens.

Other activities included word searches, puzzles, quizzes, colouring and triominoes. We also brought out some old objects for people to guess what they were including a nasal do**he and sock darning tool.

This week some clients carried on making cards. Other clients started painting on canvas with a beautiful country scene created. Other clients started painting small boxes.Other activities were bingo, word searches, sudoku, crosswords, connect 4, triominos and jigsaw puzzles.

On Tuesday Kempston Hammers Community Choir sang for us. The clients and staff really enjoyed it! Thanks for their continued support.
