We're very excited about our event with Queen's Park Community Organisation tomorrow! Starting at 8am until 9am. Light refreshments served alongside the flag raising.
We are proud to support Queen's Park Community Organisation (QPCO) as part of their Back to Our Roots programme, celebrating the rich cultural heritage within our communities.
This Wednesday there will be a special Timor-Leste Independence Day Flag Raising Ceremony at Harpur Square, Bedford, from 8am.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together, enjoy patriotic music, light refreshments, and celebrate the contributions of the Timor-Leste community in Bedford.
Our sponsorship of the Back to Our Roots events helps bring people together, creating opportunities for communities to share their traditions, stories, and culture with the wider Bedford population where everyone is warmly welcome.
This ceremony is just the beginning, with wider Timor-Leste celebrations taking place later this summer.
