✨ A little update for ticket holders for the Homefront & Hope Charity Ball next Saturday! (27th) ✨

We've made a small change to help you make the most of the evening...

🕖 Doors will now open at 7.00pm(30 minutes earlier than originally advertised).

💃 Our vintage dancers will be on hand from arrival to demonstrate and teach a few moves.

🍸 The Victory Bar will be open with a selection of cocktail specials, from retro classics to old-fashioned favourites.

🎟️ You'll also have the chance to get your bids in early for the silent auction.

🍽️ Dinner will be served around 8.00pm.

We can't wait to welcome you for what promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment, fundraising and community spirit.

☕ Don't forget our Homefront-themed Tea Shop is also open earlier in the day, from 3.00pm–5.00pm.Everyone is welcome to pop in for tea, cake and a taste of the 1940s before the evening festivities begin! 🇬🇧✨

The 10th Riseley Charity Ball is nearly here and we only have a few tickets left!

Join us on Saturday 27th June 2026 for the Hope & Homefront Ball at Riseley Village Hall.

Step back into the spirit of the 1940s with an evening inspired by both the elegance and resilience of the homefront, before dancing into the modern era with live band Slim47 🎶

💃 Couples, groups and singles all welcome

Hello everyone 👋

Our next One Big Table Community Supper is coming up on Sunday, April 19th, and everyone is welcome! 🍲

We’ll be sitting down together at the Village Hall starting at 3:00 PM. 🕒

Whether you're coming on your own, as a couple, or with the whole family, everyone is so welcome at our table. It’s a wonderful way to connect with the community, so please don't feel you have to be on your own or isolated!

To help our amazing volunteers get the numbers right, please make sure to book your spot by the Wednesday before.

🍷 BYOB: If you're able to bring your own bottle/drinks, it’s a huge help!

❤️ Donations are optional but always welcome to help support future events.

When booking, please let us know:
🥗 If you have any dietary requirements or allergies.
🚗 If you need a lift to the Village Hall—we’re happy to help coordinate!

🌟 One Big Table Community Supper 🌟

📅 Sunday 18th January 2026, 3pm
📍 Riseley Village Hall

After our Christmas break, we’re delighted to be back around the community table and we’d love you to join us.

This is for everyone 💚

Come along if you’re on your own, with family, a single parent, retired, new to the village, or just fancy some company. No pressure. No labels. Just good food and friendly faces.

As Gwen shared after coming along:

“It has been a very long time since I enjoyed such a wonderful lunch surrounded by friends and familiar faces. I did not know what I had been missing. I wish I had been to the previous lunches. Thanks to you and all the contributors for a lovely afternoon.”
