From our Chairman, Michael Penney:

I am delighted to announce Mike Masters has joined the club as Director of Rugby and initially lead coach for the Seniors while he establishes his team. Thanks to KJ and Stuart for all their efforts in the last few seasons. Mike will add value across the whole club working with Mel and Phil to assist expand the minis and youth sections. He will bring a fresh approach to the club and we look forward to benefiting from his experience working with Northampton Saints.

“I’m honoured to have been appointed as Director of Rugby at Beccles Rugby Club. There is already a great deal of hard work being done throughout the club, and I’m looking forward to working alongside the players, coaches, volunteers and committee to help build on those foundations. I’m excited for the challenges ahead and can’t wait to get started as we prepare for the 2026/27 season.” Says Mike Masters.
