Dear Club Member
We have come to the end of another season. It is time for us to hold our Annual General Meeting for the 2025-26 season. The AGM will be held at the Youth Hub on:
Friday 26th June at 19:00
The AGM will follow the normal Agenda with reports from different sections of the club. We will also accept the accounts for the year, set subscription levels and elect the Five Directors/Officers of the club.
All are welcome to attend the AGM but only Voting Members who have paid their subscription in full and on time are eligible to vote.
The club is run by a group of volunteers, and we are always looking to add to our numbers. If you are interested in getting involved, then please let us know. There are always positions available to be filled.
The positions of President, Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Vice Chairman are elected at the AGM.
After many years in the role Mat Waters is stepping down as Treasurer. He has managed our finances with great professionalism and will be sorely missed. This means that we will be looking for a new Treasurer. Mat has agreed to stay involved, for the upcoming season, to facilitate a handover to the new treasurer and also to assist with our End of Year Accounts. Anyone interested in the role should contact the Club Secretary or any committee member.
Our current President, Chairman, Secretary and Vice Chairman will all be standing again for re-election. However, if you would like to nominate yourself for any of these roles, please contact the Club Secretary, Keith Johnstone, by Friday 19th June ([email protected] / 07788 430625).
In previous years, we have also had four additional Director roles: Director of Rugby (Minis, Youth, and Seniors) and Director of Facilities. The committee has decided that these positions will no longer be elected roles but will instead be appointed by the Directors with guidance and assistance from the committee. This change is in line with the current constitution and therefore does not require approval at the AGM.
Both our Youth and Mini’s Directors will be standing again next season. However, we are currently advertising for a Director of Rugby and a Lead Coach for our senior team. There are also several other voluntary roles within the club. While many of these positions are already filled by individuals willing to continue, we warmly welcome new faces and will happily accommodate anyone interested in getting involved.

Social Secretary
Kit Store Manager
Rugby Safe Lead / Assistant Safeguarding Officer
