Since 2012 there has been an hourly train service and this has resulted in a significant increase in passenger numbers. The station is adjacent to Beccles Common, with its many opportunities for walkers and sports. After extensive negotiations the station building has been leased to the Beccles and District Regeneration Company, a local community based charity. The building retains some of the ori

ginal features including the ticket counters and a replica railway sign has been commissioned to adorn the front of the building. Beccles Station offers a café, run as a social enterprise, delivering healthy local food and drinks to eat in or takeaway. The cafe also contains local and tourist information, rail information and toilets with disabled access. Our vision is to create a community hub at the station and a gateway to Beccles that we can all be proud of.
