🌊 Lowestoft 10K

Organised by Lowestoft Town Council, today was the second year for the Lowestoft 10K race, and what an amazing turnout of 5️⃣1️⃣ RoadRunnerz πŸ–€πŸ’š! The fast and flat course consists of two laps of a 5K route, with a variety of terrain including tarmac, grass, trail paths, and a short section of gravel. The route is relatively flat with minimal elevation changes, making it suitable for runners of all levels. Today we saw some awesome running including a few 10K PB’s, well done everyone πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘, a fantastic turn out for the club πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³:

🌳 Sandringham 10K

A major event in the East Anglian running calendar, the Run Sandringham 10K attracts a large field of runners of all abilities to the Winter Residence of Royal Family, to run around the Sandringham Estate and surrounding roads and trails, while raising thousands of pounds for good causes. This year the race was moved to a Friday evening which unfortunately meant that a lot of us didn’t have the time to travel to the event. However, a strong contingent of Worlies raced the course, all with fantastic efforts, well done guys πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘:

Wednesday was Race 1 of the Summer Series, running along scenic country lanes, starting and finishing at the club training ground on Pirnhow Street. The race is mostly on-road but with a hard-wearing path at the end, leading back onto the field. Excellent running gang, and a brilliant start to the series πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘:

Beccles Tri consists of a 420m (14 lengths) swim of Beccles Lido, a 20.3 cycle out to Bungay and back and a 6.7k run along the riverbank of the Waveney. Amazing achievements from everybody, a Triathlon takes extra training as you need to train for all elements so a massive well done to you all πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

🦌 Norfolk Gazelles Alex Moore Relay

What a fantastic day we had at the Showground yesterday!! The sun shone (too much at times πŸ₯΅) and the club morale was sky high as we cheered each of our runners around the course πŸ™Œ. In teams of three, each runner completes a 5k leg (individual times recorded), then the team of three then runs a final 2k leg together. Absolutely awesome results and another fantastic team day out πŸ–€πŸ’š, excellent running everyone πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘:
