Friends of Clatterbridge

Friends of Clatterbridge Charitable organisation supporting Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH) Clatterbridge.

Founded in 1954, run by volunteers raising funds to purchase medical equipment for the Clatterbridge site for which the NHS Hospital Trust does not have a budget.

With thanks to the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton, the FoC were collecting at the theatre's popular Music & Laughter Show on Thursday evening. A total of £181.21 was made and our thanks to John Cox, Sue Cox, Mark Spiers and Chris Ball for doing the honours.

With thanks to all who helped today on our stall at the Giant Flea Market in Port Sunlight. Jill Owen leads on these for us, Mark Spiers and John Cox put in their usual stints and we managed to get some group shots today of Karen Winrow , Susan James and Chris Ball plus later on Margaret and Bob Tarrant, Dave Adams , Chris Ball again and Amanda Rummery. A beautiful day in the Sensory Garden at Clatterbridge Rehabilitation Centre - one of our most exciting projects in recent times. Our thanks to all who kindly donated today at our Supermarket collection at Morrisons in West Kirby. Thank you also to all who put in shifts collecting for us - Sue Thomas, Jill Owen , Clive and Lesley Cobb, John Cox and Susan James , Amanda Rummery and husband Christopher, new volunteer Chris Ball who stayed for most of the day, George Nelson and Dave Adams .
