One for your diaries! Our 10th Beer Fest is happening!

Dear Community Friends and Beerfest fans,

September 2025 saw another successful Beerfest. Successful because it was enjoyed by so many Seer Greeners. With higher footfall than ever before, the feedback was superb and the financial returns excellent. Within 5 days we were asked for 2026 dates from as far away as NZ!

This Scouting fundraiser has become a village favourite and as 1st SG Scouts sit at the very heart of our community we are proud to share that our troop attendance is at its highest since pre-COVID, challenging our young people, honing scouting skills, building lifelong memories and reducing screen time.

However, the Beerfest committee, specifically the Ops team, need to expand if we are to replicate 2025. There is a fabulous committee in place, the blueprint set, but the operational team is now too small for the scale of this event. For SG BF to run in 2026 we need volunteers. This is a well-established, fun, friendly and supportive group.

Why not consider this from another perspective? An opportunity to add to your CV, no matter what stage of your career, refresh or build on skills, regain confidence if you have had a career break or just have the time to offer our amazing community. The BF is the place to be involved in the biggest event in our annual SG calendar.

Once we are confident that we have a bigger ops team to deliver SGBF’26 the committee will commit to the dates, 11th/12th September 2026.
