They’ll be climbing countless stairs in full firefighting gear to raise awareness and vital funds for Lifeline, Peter Mac and 000 Foundation. ❤️

Beaconsfield Fire Brigade is saddened by the passing away overnight of brigade member Don Tye.
Don served as a brigade member for 40 years having joined in 1986 as a firefighter. He served as a Lieutenant in the brigade for 4 years from 1993 to 1997.
Don is a Life Member of the Beaconsfield Fire Brigade and an Honorary Life Member of the Country Fire Authority. He received the National Medal for service in 2017 and was presented a National Medal Second Clasp in 2025. He also received a Chief Officers Unit Citation for Courage for assisting with the rescue of people from a flooded creek in 2011.

Last night The Beaconsfield CFA held our annual presentation night. It was a great opportunity for members and their Family/partners, Representatives from Berwick CFA, Officer CFA, Upper Beaconsfield CFA, Berwick Opportunity Shop, Pakenham Opportunity Shop, Bendigo bank, Brad Battin MP and Beaconsfield Progress Association to get together in a relaxed atmosphere to acknowledge the great service and dedication our members have proudly given to serve the community . On 2 June Beaconsfield Fire Brigade was presented with a cheque by Vicki and Jim from the Berwick Op Shop. The ongoing generosity and support of the Berwick Op Shop makes an enormous difference to the brigade in being able to purchase new equipment to assist the community during an emergency.

Last night our Juniors had some special guests join the program with our incredible Mum’s and VIP’s showing us their skills! It was easy to see where the Juniors get their talent from.
We’re proud to have such a strong, supportive community around our Juniors, we appreciate everything you do to help them grow and thrive.
