On 26th June, Luke’s Lads Veterans are taking on the mighty Ben Nevis to raise vital funds for TCD 💙

Luke’s Lads Veterans will be climbing the UK’s highest mountain — and for most of them, this challenge comes with additional physical disabilities.

This isn’t just a climb. It’s resilience. It’s brotherhood. It’s veterans refusing to be defined by their struggles.

We are unbelievably proud of our lads. 🙌

Please help support them — and the life-saving work we continue to do at TCD — by clicking the link below and donating via our JustGiving page. Every single donation makes a difference.

Let’s show them they’re not climbing alone 💪💙

A great Cleckheaton Youth Group session last night, with some very physical games, some more focused activities, and some boxing going on!

It’s brilliant to see everyone developing new skills, building confidence, and bringing their own ideas into sessions. One of our young people taught everyone a new card game, and we also played a physical teamwork game that involved working together to stop the facilitator getting a chair!

Great teamwork, polite interaction, and lots of positive engagement all round. Snacks were enjoyed too!

📍 Our next session at Cleckheaton Library is Monday 1st June.

🚴‍♂️ LAUNCH DAY 🚴‍♂️

Today marks the start of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week challenge at Kirklees College 💙

Over 350 students and staff will be taking part across the week, hoping to smash last year’s fantastic fundraising total of £750.

We’re incredibly proud and grateful that Kirklees Engineering College has chosen TCD – Luke’s Lads as their charity for this challenge. Students and tutors at the Engineering Centre will be taking on a cycling challenge to help raise awareness of male mental health and the importance of talking openly and honestly about how we feel.

Too many men still struggle in silence, and events like this help start vital conversations, reduce stigma, and remind people that support is available and that nobody has to face things alone.

Every donation made will directly help us continue providing free Luke’s Lads sessions within the community, creating safe spaces where men can connect, talk, and access support without financial barriers.

We’ll be sharing daily updates throughout the week, so keep an eye on our page to see how everyone is getting on and how much has been raised. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone taking part, donating, and supporting the challenge this week — your support genuinely makes a difference.

If you’d like to support the fundraiser, please use the QR code to donate.
