Mondays were always a day I seemed to struggle with since loosing my boy ❤️‍🩹

It’s like I had survived the week, got through it and felt relief on a Sunday night. Then I would wake up on a Monday and think “oh now I need to survive another week without my boy” 😢

But a wise man gave me this advice “be a shark, sharks just go through their day being strong eating sh*t” 😂

Who else wants to be a shark today? Drop a comment or a wee shark 🦈 emoji to confirm 💪🏼

💙 They Did It 💙

Today, my amazing mum and auntie Mary completed the West Highland Way in memory of Jamie and in support of Jamie’s Sanctuary.

Over the last 5 days, they have trekked an incredible 96 miles, carrying all of their own kit every step of the way. Together, they covered a staggering 278,924 steps through some of Scotland’s most challenging and beautiful landscapes 🗻

This wasn’t just a walk. It was a journey of love, remembrance, determination, and hope. Every mile was walked with Jamie in their hearts and with the aim of helping Jamie’s Sanctuary continue its work supporting others through mental health, substance use and su***de ideation ❤️‍🩹

I am so incredibly proud of both of them. Their strength, resilience, and commitment have been truly inspiring, especially on the days when the weather, tired legs, blisters, and heavy backpacks made every step harder.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who has donated, shared their journey, sent messages of encouragement, and offered kind words of support along the way. Your generosity and encouragement helped keep them going and reminded us how much love and compassion exists within our community 💛🫶🏼💛

Jamie’s memory continues to bring people together, and that means more than words can ever express. 🥹🩵

We are currently gathering all of the donations and will let everyone know the final total raised as soon as we have all the figures confirmed.

For now, please join me in congratulating these two incredible women on an extraordinary achievement. We know Jamie would be so proud 💙

96 miles. 5 days. 278,924 steps. One beautiful reason.

💙 For Jamie. Always. 💙

One piece of advice for anyone grieving someone they’ve lost:

Don’t rush your healing. There is no timeline for grief, and it’s okay to carry love and loss together. 💛
