🎤 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗽𝗮 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 — 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗯𝘆

Paul joined Toastmasters after attending a communication course at work and wanting to improve his public speaking.

Since then, he’s had plenty of opportunities to speak, take on leadership roles and make new friends.

And Toastmasters has taken him rather further than he might have expected…

“𝗜 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿!”

Paul’s next goal is to develop more powerful speeches and help new members as they begin their own Toastmasters journey.

His advice to anyone thinking about visiting?

🎤 WHAT A NIGHT!

A fantastic Humorous Speech & Table Topics Contest at Bath Spa Toastmasters last evening.

Our Contest Chair, Jason Gray, did a brilliant job leading the evening, including a great Table Topics question:

“What do people need more of in their lives and why?”

We also enjoyed some brilliant Humorous Speeches from Andy Palmer, Heather Bellin, Matthew Alford and Paul Kilby.
