BCPC The Bath Centre for Psychotherapy & Counselling (BCPC) is a long standing provider of accredited counselling and psychotherapy training in the South West.

BCPC was among the first humanistic therapy trainings to be set up in the Southwest, and was founded in 1984 by Peter Hawkins. Since 1990, students can choose a training path of either counselling or psychotherapy, and both are aligned with the original educational intent – a humanistic emphasis on learning experientially that leads to authentic theoretical integration. Our training remains an int

egration of humanistic and psychoanalytic approaches. In addition to training BCPC’s Psychotherapy & Counselling Service offers members of the public access to our fully qualified and trainee psychotherapists and counsellors. The service only lists practitioners who are registered or working towards registration with BACP or UKCP and who adhere to the relevant code of ethics.
