Bath Mind

Bath Mind Your local and independent mental health charity operating across Bath & North East Somerset. Every action helps us reach more people in need.

Bath Mind was founded in 1998 by local people with lived experience of mental ill health who wanted to create compassionate, accessible support for their community. Since then, we’ve continued to grow and evolve our services in response to local needs. Many of our team members also have lived experience, giving us a deeper understanding of the challenges our community faces and the support that tr

uly helps. Each year, we connect with over 3,400 people to improve, maintain, and protect their mental health and wellbeing. Although we are affiliated with national Mind, we receive no direct funding from them. Bath Mind is an independent, self-sustaining local charity, powered by our community, for our community.

💙 Stay connected: Follow us for updates on services, resources, events and ways to look after your mental health.

🌈 Our team had a fantastic time at the Bath Pride March at the weekend, celebrating love, identity, and solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community 🏳️‍🌈💙

Being LGBTQ+ does not cause mental ill health. But too often, LGBTQ+ people experience discrimination, exclusion and other challenges that can impact their mental wellbeing.

At Bath Mind, we believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard and supported. We recognise that mental health experiences are shaped by many parts of our identity, and that support should be accessible to everyone.

If you're LGBTQ+ and need support, please know that you're not alone. 💙
