🐾 We love hearing how our former residents are getting on in their forever homes, and we’ve received a lovely update about Brian!

From a tiny ball of fluff to the one who rules the house, Brian has certainly grown into his paws! 🐶👑

Being a terrier, he’s got his nose in absolutely everything, and his adopters tell us he’s a very clever boy.

In the two years since they collected him, Brian has already passed his Puppy Training and Bronze Award, and he’s now getting ready to go for Silver! 🏅 What an achievement!

He and his family are also enjoying even more adventures together, with walks in the woods and on the beach becoming firm favourites. 🌳🌊🐾

We can hardly believe it’s been two years already! It’s wonderful to hear how Brian is thriving and making the most of life with his loving family.

Halfway through , we’re looking back at a lovely update we received about Posy! 🐾

Her adopters fell in love with Posy the moment they saw her photo, and it sounds like she’s well and truly stolen their hearts 🥹

When Posy first arrived at her new home, she was quite reserved, often hiding away and sometimes nibbling when shown affection. But with time, patience and love, she’s blossomed into a confident, playful and affectionate girl who loves nothing more than being the centre of attention, climbing onto laps for strokes and snuggling up for a cuddle and a nap.

She’s also helped her senior feline sister come out of her shell, encouraging her to play more and be a little braver. And although they might pretend not to get along, their family has even spotted some secret cuddles! 🤫🐱

Her family describe her as a truly special cat and say they can’t imagine life without her 💙

🐾 A little Sunday sweetness for Adoptober, with a lovely update about Luna!

Luna’s family tell us she’s the sweetest dog, with a funny side that keeps them laughing every day. And when they need a cuddle, she’s always there 🥹

She was a bit of a handful when she first arrived in her forever home, but with love and understanding, she’s become the best companion her family could wish for 💙

🐾 A double dose of feel-good this Friday, with a little update about Bryn!

Bryn is a nervous boy around people, but his family have found that he’s very much at home around foster kittens 🐈

A foster fail himself, Bryn has taken on the role of Uncle Bryn to all the kittens who come through the house. He’s gentle with them and loves having them around 💙

It’s lovely to see this special boy sharing his own kind of love with kittens who need a little care and comfort too.

🐾 Our Adoptober stories continue with a lovely update about Juno!

Over the last year, Juno has settled into her forever home so beautifully that her family say it feels as though she’s always been there 🥹

She’s made lots of friends, both human and furry, and loves nothing more than heading off on an adventure. From splashing in the sea at Poole to being admired at Stonehenge, Juno has certainly been making memories and even had the very special job of being a flower girl at her family’s recent wedding! 💐

Of course, adventures are even better when they’re followed by belly rubs and a biscuit or Dentastick. In return, Juno gives her family endless love, gentle companionship and plenty of laughs 💙

🎥 We had some lovely visitors in Trowbridge.

Recently, Tom & Terry from Shift the Thrift popped into our shop for a browse, a chat and a bit of filming 🛍️

Our very own Jo features in the video, chatting with the gents from 25:27–30:14 and here’s a little extra reason to love Jo: it was actually her day off, but she popped in to support Sam and make sure she got her lunch break 🥰 That’s the kind of team spirit we’re all about.

🐱 Our Adoptober stories continue with lovely Florence!

Florence’s family tell us she is quite the character, with a wonderfully sassy personality and plenty of energy to match! 🐾

One minute she’s curled up fast asleep, and the next she’s tearing around at full pelt. She’s settled in beautifully with her brothers and sisters and has become such a special part of the family 💙

Her family say they simply wouldn’t be without her and we can completely understand why.

Thank you to Florence’s family for sharing this lovely update with us.
