A story of success in Costa Rica

You did it!

Earlier this year, we launched an urgent appeal to save threatened rainforest in Costa Rica’s Bosque de las Madres Biological Corridor — land at risk of being cleared for cattle ranching and logging.

Your response was immediate and inspiring. Thanks to you we raised every penny needed to secure this vital forest.

Thank you.

IRI Brazil, IRI Colombia and IRI Peru have united to demand an ethical and courageous COP30 in Belém.

They’re asking world leaders to stop deforestation, protect the forest, and honour the people who call it home.

The Amazon is burning, forests are falling and Indigenous guardians are standing on the frontline to protect what’s left. But they shouldn’t have to fight alone! We can defend the forest that gives us our climate, our future, our planet.

The Amazon gives us the air we breathe. But it’s running out of time, and so are we.

At Rainforest Concern, we’re fighting to protect the forests that protect all of us, a living legacy for generations to come.
Every donation helps us defend vital ecossystems, support Indigenous guardians, and keep the forests alive.

Don’t just care, act! https://one-off-donation.raiselysite.com/

Join the COP30 Mutirão — Collective Action for the Planet!

In Brazil, the word “mutirão” means everyone working together for the common good.
As we look ahead to COP30 in Belém, Brazil, the Mutirão movement reminds us that protecting our planet starts with collaboration — from rainforest communities on the frontlines of climate change to individuals making conscious choices every day.
At , we believe in the power of collective action. Together with our partners across Latin America, we’re protecting rainforests, wildlife, and Indigenous lands because the climate fight begins in the forests.

A huge thank you to Alexander Balfour, who is taking on the London Marathon to raise vital funds for Rainforest Concern!

Every year, over 10 million hectares of forest are destroyed, putting thousands of species — from marine turtles and Andean bears to the tiny Longnose Harlequin frog — at risk of extinction.

Alexander’s fundraising will help us protect these irreplaceable habitats and the incredible wildlife they support. 🌎

You can support Alexander and help him reach his £2,000 target by donating here: https://2026tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/alexander-balfour

Together, we can protect rainforests for nature, climate and people. 🌳✨

Amazon Rainforest Day!

The Amazon rainforest is the most biodiverse region on Earth.
10% of all known species live in the Amazon
123 billion metric tonnes of CO₂ equivalents are stored in the Amazon
420 Indigenous communities inhabit the Amazon
Despite its critical importance to life, the Amazon is under siege. Commercial industries threaten to disinherit living beings from their rainforest homes – 20% of the Amazon forest biome has been lost due to deforestation and other causes. And the Amazon is burning at rates never seen before.
To date, Rainforest Concern has helped protect 2.2 million hectares of threatened forests. You can donate to further protect the Amazon: https://www.rainforestconcern.org/get-involved/ways-to-support-us

World Elephant Day 🌍🐘
Elephants aren’t just incredible — they’re essential.
They shape forests, create waterholes, and keep ecosystems alive.

But they’re under threat from poaching, habitat loss & conflict.
