Lifeline at The Gateway Centre on London Road - It's open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30am to 4:30pm. Lifeline is a day centre providing crisis support for people who are homeless, vulnerably
housed or experiencing complex challenges such as financial insecurity, mental ill-health and substance misuse. We can provide food, clothing, small household items, access to a shower and laundry facilities, phones and IT and much more. We also offer one-to-one support where guests can talk to a member of the team. We particularly focus on the home, tenancy matters and financial problems; but if we can help on any matter we will endeavour to do so. Life Skills at The Gateway Centre on London Road - activities on Tuesday and Thursday. Life Skills provides therapeutic courses and activities to support people on the journey from crisis to independence. Life Course at the Gateway Centre on London Road - See our website for details about the course. The Life Course is aimed at supporting people in their recovery from addiction, trauma and poor mental health. SMART Recovery at The Gateway Centre on London Road - SMART stands for Self-Management and Recovery Training and is a programme that provides training and tools for people who want to change their problematic behaviour, including addiction to drugs, alcohol, ci******es, gambling, food, shopping, internet and others. The course runs on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:30pm. Please see our website for more information. Bath Foodbank - operating using a voucher system through an agency. Three distribution centres are open: Lighthouse Centre in Twerton on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-11:30 and Manvers Street Baptist Church on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:30-2:30 and at St Philip & St James' Church in Odd Down on Tuesdays from 12:30-2:30pm. Genesis Furniture - It is an online eBay shop where we sell quality, pre-loved furniture to support the charitable work of the Genesis Trust. The team are still operating an essential service to agencies, organisations and individuals that support people in need. The shop relies entirely on quality furniture donations from the community.
