At Young Carers Council, being inclusive is important to us. We believe that in the society we live in everyone should feel welcomed, safe and supported, whoever they are.

We're going to focus on this topic in our next Young Carers' Council on Thursday 22nd October, sharing ideas and experiences on things we're already doing well, and anything we could do better.

If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, come along! We provide snacks and a warm, open environment to share ideas, connect with others and promote the changes that you want to see in the world.

It's time you take a moment to schedule some time for you, to be amongst other people who understand the highs and lows of unpaid caring.

For unpaid carers, whose days are often packed with routines, schedules, and responsibilities, "wonder" can mean giving the mind permission to step out of the daily logistics. That could be noticing a small detail in nature during a short walk, or letting curiosity wander beyond their caring role for a moment.

Anne and Fiona from our Support Team are at the Dementia Awareness Event today at Paulton Hospital, ready to help those caring for someone with dementia by sharing how we can support them every step of their caring journey.

They'd love to see you if you're able to stop by!

➡️ Pop in to The Carers' Centre on Lower Bristol Road to pick up a design template (or call us on 0800 0388 885 and we'll email one over to you)
➡️ Return it to us by the 31 October
➡️ Chosen designs will be professionally printed, and packaged up to raise funds for The Carers' Centre at the Bath Christmas Market on 10 December.

We're looking forward to seeing your wonderful designs!
