We have a very kind member who once a month makes us home made cakes. These are carrot cakes topped with cream and jam.

A few years ago he was talking to the singer Cliff Richards who shared his own mother's recipe. Here it is: moist, spongy and ever so slightly spicy, not unlike our members.
