Percy is our Bird of the Month for June!

Percy is a Harris’ Hawk. Harris’ Hawks are very adaptable birds, able to thrive in both deserts and the edges of rainforests.

Percy is a very intelligent hawk who keeps his handlers on their toes! He is impressively fast and clearly enjoys flying on Hawk Walks. Throughout the Spring Percy has been flying incredibly well. You can book on to a Hawk Walk this Summer to meet him!

Capture stunning images of beautiful birds of prey in flight during our one‑hour outdoor photography session. Bring your own camera and enjoy exclusive access to three different species, which could be a range of owls, hawks or falcons depending who we are flying on the day.

23 June, 7 July, 15 September, 29 September 2026

We fly the birds using our gentle, consent‑based approach so every moment is natural and authentic, and also ensures the birds choose how they participate. Perfect for photographers who want rare, close‑up opportunities with incredible birds in a countryside setting.

This is a small group experience, giving an intimate, up close experience with plenty of space and time.

Our Bird of the Month is Ffion!

Ffion is a Tawny Owl. A native species to the UK, Tawny Owls are famous for their twit-twoo. They are the only owl species that makes this call. This is usually a duet, the female ‘twitting’, the male ‘twooing’.

Ffion has been doing great work learning good table manners!! She has been learning to take food gently from her keepers. She has also been showing off her flying skills in our morning shows, and is quite the star! You can see her fly most days we are open at 11am - Wednesday to Sunday.
