We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have been awarded £20,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund to fund our low cost counselling service to those in need in our community! This is huge news for us. We currently offer subsidised counselling to approximately 80% of our clients. That's an average monthly spend of around £6,000!

Focus offers a FREE support group for female survivors of sexual violence who are 18 years and above.

Its purpose is to provide a trauma-informed safe space for survivors to draw strength from each other and have their experiences of sexual violence acknowledged, feel reduced shame and be empowered to start or continue recovery from their experience.

The group runs fortnightly in a space hosted in a discreet venue by qualified female counsellors. The support group is not therapy but is therapeutically minded - we will always believe you.

The support group can be really empowering and will focus on self-care/self-soothing and grounding strategies, increasing self-esteem and confidence to lead on own recovery/healing.

The first step to book onto the support group is to have an informal chat with one of the facilitators who will guide you through how it works. Please call us, or email [email protected].
