🌿 Prioritising Wellbeing at Work 💼✨

We’ve been exploring network member Bath Mind's Wellbeing at Work guidance, and it’s full of reminders we all need — especially in the children & young people’s sector.

Inspired by their tips, here are a few simple ways to support your wellbeing at work 👇
💙 Take regular breaks (even on the busiest days!)
🧠 Set healthy boundaries around workload
🤝 Stay connected — check in with a colleague from time to time
🌱 Build small wellbeing habits into your daily routine

📆 What’s on this week in the B&NES Children & Young People’s sector?

Meetings, youth groups, and festive events — our network members have so much going on! 🎉

Check out this week’s highlights 👇

have their AGM tomorrow, 13th December, at 11am in the Roots to Work Cafe. All members are invited to attend, and if you're not a member, there are plenty of ways to join (including free membership for residents of Twerton and Southdown wards)!

have their weekly Youth Voice Group on Fridays, with one session at 5:15 - 6:15, and another at 6:30 - 7:30. Sessions include freedom play, arts/crafts, and their 'Dreams Room' where children can be calm and feel safe, as well as a Parents' Snug.

have their A Very Alice Christmas Market event, a Christmas market created by children, for children, where 'the little ones take the lead'. Expect arts, face painting, a choir, and stalls set up by children where they can sell whatever they'd like, including crafts, toys, bakes, handmade gifts, and more!

have their WHY Frome Santa Dash, starting at 11am at Frome Cricket Club. This is a 4k run (or walk) all about fun, laughter, and a dash of Christmas magic, while raising vital funds for We Hear You’s free and low-cost counselling services.
