Hi Primrose Woodlanders Quiet 4th Sundays are taking a summer holiday and will resume on the 4th Sunday in September so watch this space. In the meantime we’re grateful for all your support and enjoyment of this very special place.

Quiet 4th Sunday - 24 May, 09.30 hrs

Our Quiet Sunday volunteers are meeting up next on Sunday 24 May to nurture our saplings.

We'll meet at Fonthill Gate (at the far end of Fonthill Road, off Lansdown Road) at 09.30hrs.

If you have them, please bring pruning saws, shears or secateurs, and gloves.

We'll take a break for cake, so perhaps bring a flask of tea or refreshing drink.

A friendly, welcoming group we meet up on the fourth Sunday each month.

We'll meet again on Sunday 28 June for a nature survey.

Quiet Sunday 26th April
-Nature Survey in Primrose Hill Woodland

Join us for another of our regular Quiet Sundays on 26 April.

Meet at Weston Gate (What3words ///unit.dunes.finely) for a 9.30 start, finishing around noon.

We’ll share our knowledge of local flora and fauna - you don’t need to be an expert!
It would be useful to have the iNaturalist app (which is free) and, if you have them, a hand lens and a reference book.
We stop for a mid session break, so bring a drink. We’ll supply cake.

Join us on Sunday 22 March at Weston gate (what3words. unit.dunes.finely) for a sociable and productive morning’s work helping to keep Primrose Wood the very special place that it is. We’ll be pruning cherry tree saplings so bring secateurs or equivalent, gloves and something to kneel on.

We’ll stop for a break mid-morning so do bring a drink.

Don’t miss the chance to scramble the Primrose Wood bramble on Sunday from 9.30 to noon (with a break midway so bring a drink). Meet at Fonthill gate wearing weatherproof shoes and thorn proof gloves.

See you then…

Join our Bramble scramble on Sunday 22 February, meet at 9.39 at Fonthill Gate. Wear weather proof shoes or boots, “gardening” gloves and, with a mid-morning break, bring a drink. We’ll finish at noon.
