Bath Astronomers Bath Astronomers is a group of keen stargazers in or around Bath. We share astro experiences and the enjoyment of practical astronomy.

We promote the astro sciences to all, young and old alike. We are registered charity 1215572. Bath Astronomers is a group of keen amateur astronomers living in or near Bath. We meet monthly on the last Wednesday of the month at either the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution or the Herschel Museum of Astronomy. We have over 140 members and lots of interested visitors to public stargazing outreach. All welcome and we strvie to be family friendly.

NASA are due to announce the crew of Artemis 3 tomorrow (Tuesday 9th June) in the briefing starting at 4pm (UTC+1/BST). You can watch it on NASA+

They may announce a European being part of the 4 person crew. Pundits are suggesting Italy's Samantha Cristoforetti is a good bet. University of Bath alumni Anne McClain is a favourite to get a seat too.

See brightest planets Venus and Jupiter getting really close to each other in the sky.

Look tonight and again tomorrow to see how they change in just one day. Closest approach in on Tuesday 9th June.
