Wondering what to do over the bank holiday weekend? Why not volunteer with us on Saturday or Sunday from11am to 3pm?
We need to cut our grasslands at Warleigh Nature Reserve, Bath before the end of the season and need all the help we can get! If you are a beginner we can lend you a scythe and show you how to use it safely. If you have your own scythe, please bring it with you as we only have a few at the moment.

We have a few spaces available on our scything courses on 24th August and 5th September from 10am to 1pm at Warleigh Nature Reserve, Warleigh Lane, Bath, BA1 8EE. Equipment will be provided but you are welcome to to bring your own scythe if it is fairly new. Led by Kai Lange, an experienced scything instructor, you will learn how to care for your scythe as well as how to use it. Cost is a donation of £30 towards the upkeep of our nature reserve.
