The Great Oaks Lunch Club needs your help. We are looking for a couple of people who can spare a fre hours on the first and third Tuesday of every month for setting up, serving and tidying away at the Sycamore Community Halls. In return we can offer you a rewarding experience meeting our local over 55s and there may be the odd doggy bag 😉 If you can help please email [email protected].

Today was the GOLC Christmas lunch and as always it was a lovely day. The Winklebury Federation school choir visited and they sang like Angels... the food as always, was top notch and everyone left will full bellies and happy hearts. Lunch club is now over for another year and will resume on Tuesday 9th January. Merry Christmas lunch clubbers xx

I am so pleased to tell you that the second 24/7 accessible defibrillator is now up and running at Sycamore Hall. This is amazing and thank you everyone who has made it possible.
Don’t forget our free training course is on Monday 13 November at 7 pm. Please email cathy@winkleburylegends to book a place.

We hope everyone has had a lovely Summer Break. We're back on the 19th September with Lamb stew with dumplings followed by Bread pudding.
