Our Annual General Meeting will take place in the Sycamore Hall on Friday 30 October at 19.15 hours, doors open from 19.00 hours. You will have the chance to meet the Unit Management Team (UMT) and find out more about how the Charity is run. All are welcome – cadets, parents, carers, friends and families, staff, trustees and other supporters of the Unit. For those who are caring for other children, you are most welcome to bring them to the meeting. Refreshments will be available, and we are keen to see as many of you as possible and hope you will be able to join us.

🚢 ROYAL NAVY EXPERIENCE WEEK ⚓

Ever wondered what life in the Royal Navy is really like?

This February, cadets have the opportunity to experience the training and activities of today’s Royal Navy recruits during an exciting Royal Navy Experience Week at HMS Raleigh, Torpoint.

📅 14th–19th February 2027
📍 HMS Raleigh, Torpoint
💷 £92 – bursaries available
🚌 Transport provided

Open to all cadets aged 12+, with priority given to those aged 12–15.

We had a good sailing session up at Burghfield Sailing Club on Saturday. Looking forward to the next one this coming Saturday (23-May) where we are planning Sailing and Rowing sessions.

⚠️ UNIFORM AMNESTY ⚠️

If you’ve ever been a Sea cadet or an adult volunteer with us and still have uniform or parts of uniform, we would really like it back as soon as soon as possible please.

No questions will be asked and we understand sometimes these things slip down the priority list, especially in today’s busy climate, so nobody is in trouble!

However, uniform remains property of the Ministry of Defence, and is needed back so it can be reissued or disposed of if not suitable for reissue.

You can drop it into the Unit on Monday or Friday evenings between 7:00pm and 9:00pm. Simply hand it in to any member of staff on arrival - if you can pop the person’s name on a note inside the bag, we can cross them off our list.

Uniform is very important to us, so please help us by returning your old uniform.
